Twenty-something: a flux of identity and sexuality.

Forming an unlikely friendship, twenty-somethings Denim and Nikki navigate a landscape of emotions that neither expected. New to Seattle, Denim (Zachary Booth, Keep the Lights On, Damages) falls in love with Nikki, a struggling, lesbian singer-songwriter (Zelda Williams, daughter of Robin Williams, in her debut dramatic leading role). We watch their tumultuous relationship grow, get complicated, and ultimately redefine their understanding of sexuality and modern relationships. Co-starring Nicole Gale Anderson (Beauty and the Beast) and Angela Sarafyan (Twilight: Breaking Dawn), and featuring original music by Nora Kirkpatrick (Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros), Brett Smith’s debut feature beautifully examines modern relationships, where lines are often blurred, and the unexpected will almost always happen.
