Emmy-winning director Paul Devlin’s spirited new film is more than a documentary. It’s also a romantic comedy!

Jim Wood has a dream to be famous. A charismatic, everyman musician, Jim is so busy chasing that dream, he risks missing what success really means. Dynamic and abrasively funny, he reveals surprising insight, while grappling with the broken promise of Rock ‘n Roll. He must reconcile his joy of creating music and his wife Christie’s desire for a child within a culture in which anything short of celebrity is failure. Their journey leads to famous musicians’ homes, onto national television, to a cult horror movie, and finally inside their very personal, but also hilariously candid debates about whether or not to have children. Their pursuit of fame transforms them in surprising ways, while reminding us that you don’t have to be crazy to dream. You have to be crazy to give up.
