How does a grown man learn to grow up?
Actor Bo is famous for only one thing: an insurance commercial. Sick of failing to launch his career and nostalgic for his glory days as a high school football star, Bo heads home for his high school reunion. When footage of a drunk Bo goes viral, he finds himself stuck in his hometown for a little longer (under house arrest, no less) than he’d planned and forges an unlikely friendship with the shy boy, Elliot, across the street who’s desperate to learn how to play football. If Bo can help Elliot make the football team, is there still hope he can turn his own life around? Co-directors Jacquie Phillips and Stefanie Black add a lot of spice and unexpected turns through their highly entertaining and heartwarming debut about growing up and what it means to be a man.
